UFC 110 Picks: Noguiera Vs Velasquez UFC Predictions UFC Fight Odds - UFC 110 Betting – Nogueira, Velasquez Fight For Heavyweight Supremacy Down Under The UFC will be heading down under for its Australian debut this weekend and with the heavyweight division somewhat in flux, both UFC 110 Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez – the two heavyweight fighters headlining the card – have a shot to make a move in a usually tough division. After UFC 100, it looked like the UFC’s heavyweight division would be stacked. Brock Lesnar looked untouchable and after dismantling Frank Mir and Randy Couture, it really looked like the division was split between Lesnar and a bunch of so-so challengers. Cain Velasquez was on the radar to take a shot at Lesnar and he was supposed to fight Shane Carwin to become the No. 1 contender. But then Carwin was injured and so was Lesnar. Even Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was injured previously, which delayed this upcoming bout with Velasquez. On top of that, fighters like Cheick Kongo and Mikro “Cro Cop” Filipovic have been whipped, which has dropped their name from the ranks. Velasquez will still get a shot at making a bigger name for himself at UFC 110 as he’ll finally get in the ring with Nogueira. Velasquez has a perfect 7-0 record and has looked very good in doing so. When looking at the UFC 110 odds, some people might be surprised to see that the fight is pretty much considered even by the bookmakers (bookmaker reviews). UFC 110 Betting Odds Velasquez +110 is considered an up-and-comer while Nogueira is the savvy veteran, but they both have very similar styles of fighting. There’s no question that Velasquez is one of the most talented young stars in the heavyweight division but the reason why he isn’t a big favorite is that he hasn’t fought anyone of Nogueira’s ilk. Velasquez’ best wins have come against Ben Rothwell and Cheick Kongo, which isn’t saying much. Nogueira is 39 fights deep into a career and he has fought many of the best. But if there is one thing to like about Velasquez, it’s that he’s not taking this fight lightly in any way, shape or form. He knows what he needs to do and more importantly, he knows that he’ll finally get the recognition if he does win the fight. Check out the UFC Fight Odds UFC 111. UFC Predictions This will be a close fight and it could very well go to a decision, but look for Velasquez’ younger legs to be the difference. Expert Handicapping UFC 110 Picks: Velasquez
